Deniece M. Landes, age 63, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her residence.  Mrs. Landes was born in Euclid, OH to Pastor James and Myrlene (Myers) Walden.  She graduated from Collinwood High School in Cleveland, OH.  On May 30, 1980, she married her husband of 43 years, Thomas F. Landes in Cleveland, OH.  She was employed for 16 years for the Reigeckers.  Deniece retired from the Blue Gate Restaurant where she had been general manager, kitchen manager, and most recently housekeeping manager for the Blue Gate Garden INN.  She was a very loving woman with a loving heart.  She was a good cook who had a contagious sense of humor and also wasn't afraid to let you know how things were going to be.  Deniece was a faithful and loving wife, amazing mother, and loved her grandchildren to the fullest.  She will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

Survivors include: Spouse, Tom Landes. Daughter, Constance Stutzman. Grandchildren, Drake, Elliott, Mason, and Rozlyn Stutzman Siblings,  Harley (Don) and Helen Walden, Pastor James Jr. and Sharon Walden, Troy D. and Kelly Walden, and Tracy L. and Becky Walden.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 12:00pm with visitation 1 hour prior from 11:00am-12:00pm at the Blue Gate Garden INN, 800 South Van Buren Street, Shipshewana, 46565.

Officiating the services will be Pastor James Walden Jr.
