Deborah "Debbie" Lee Clemons

Deborah “Debbie” Lee Clemons, age 58, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born on November 23, 1967, in Knox, Indiana, to Thomas Makowski and Rita (Studzinski) Brooke. On July 4, 2006, Debbie married the love of her life, Tony Clemons, in Knox. Debbie spent many years working in manufacturing, never afraid of hard work and always doing her best. Away from work, she enjoyed the simple joys of life. She particularly enjoyed hunting for treasures at thrift stores and trying her luck at the Blue-Chip Casino. But the true joy of her life came from caring for others. Debbie had a heart bigger than words can express. She was the one who checked on everyone, made sure they had what they needed, and showed love through acts of kindness. Her compassion, warmth, and selflessness will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory:

Daughter, Brittany Shepherd.

Son, Chad (Lee Lee Tolson) Osborne.

Sister, Kathy (Dennis) Cooley.

Sister, Sherry Makowski.

Sister/best friend, Linda King.

2 Grandchildren, Brayden and Paisley.

Several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, husband, Son, Adam Makowski, step-father, Larry Brooke, and Brother-in-law, Bill King.

There are no services scheduled at this time and cremation will take place upon Debbie’s wishes.

The family wishes to extend its deep thanks and gratitude to the medical staff at Parkview Regional Medical Center ICU and all the care team for their compassion and endless dedicated care.
