David Landis Gipson, age 54, of Kendallville, IN passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 in Wolcottville, IN.  Mr. Gipson was born on March 3, 1969 in Denison, IA to David Lynn and Vivecca Ann (Rath) Gipson.  He graduated from Garrett High School in Garrett, IN.  For over 20 years, he worked as a truck driver for various companies.  Throughout many of his years driving, he was accompanied by his canine companion, Buddy.  David enjoyed learning, was a huge history buff, and loved studying family genealogy.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, and fishing.  David was an avid fan of Mt. Dew.  He was a family oriented man who loved his family and was very proud to be a Gipson.

Survivors include: Daughter, Sabra (Paul Miller) Cotterman of Fort Wayne, IN. Father, David Lynn (Brenda) Gipson of Meridian, ID. Brother, Ken (Jennifer) Gipson of Kendallville, IN. Brother, Walt Gipson of Kendallville, IN. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Vivecca Gipson, brother, Travis Harold Gipson, and grandparents; David Gipson, Ann Gipson, Delmar Rath, and Margaret Rath, and canine companion, Buddy.

There are no services scheduled at this time and cremation will take place.
