Darin Michael Smith, age 54, of Shipshewana, IN passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at his residence.  Mr. Smith was born on November 12, 1969 in LaGrange, IN to Douglas K. and Catherine A. (Hatcher) Smith.  In 1987, Darin graduated from Westview High School.  Darin currently was working production for a manufacturing company.  He enjoyed working around the farm.  He had a special love for animals, especially horses and dogs.  Darin also enjoyed riding his bike and playing video games in his spare time.

Survivors include: Father, Douglas K. Smith of Shipshewana, IN. Sister, Kelly (Jared) Jantzi of Shipshewana, IN. Brother, Tim Smith of Shipshewana, IN. Niece, Taylor (Tim) Stidham of Syracuse, IN. Nephew, Brody Jantzi of Elkhart, IN. Great-nephew, Tucker Stidham of Syracuse, IN.

Darin was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine A. Smith.

There are no services scheduled and cremation will take place.
