Daniel V. Nieto, age 46, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.  Mr. Nieto graduated High School in Mexico.  For over 20 years, he was a general contractor in construction.  During his contracting career, he worked with D&S Builders in LaGrange, many out of the area contracting jobs, a very large plethora of local jobs, and he worked alongside of an Amish crew as well.  Daniel also worked at Vlasic Mushroom Farm in Brighton, IN for a couple years.  He was a pure jack of all trade's kind of man.  Daniel was an avid motorcycle and 4-wheeler enthusiast.  Daniel enjoyed heavy machinery and equipment operating.  He also was talented at drawing and did tattooing as a side gig.  Daniel took pride in refurbishing various items as well as having a devout appreciation for antiques.  He was a visionary, wanted to change the world one day at a time, and believed in his dreams.  Daniel was smart, humble, and one of the kindest men you could meet.  He also took a lot of pride in his family town back in Araro, Mexico.  Daniel was best known as a family-oriented man, who would typically be outside grilling, laughing, and cherishing all the quality time with his loved ones.  He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Survivors include: Mother, Yolanda Arias Solis of LaGrange, IN. Daughter, Kayla Trejo of Sturgis, MI. Daughter, Daniah Nieto of LaGrange, IN. Son, Denzel Nieto of LaGrange, IN. Fiancé, Denisse Barajas of LaGrange, IN. Mother of his daughter, Karen Avalos and Will Kado of LaGrange, IN. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Daniel C. Nieto and grandparents, Luis Nieto, Antonia Colorado, Thomas Vargas, and Esperanza Correa.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 50 North 100 East, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Cremation will take place following the services upon the family's request.

Officiating the services will be Father Raul Marroquin.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family to aid in final expenses.
