Cinda Lea (Simpson) Rice, age 75, of Angola, IN passed away on Wednesday, October 13,2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.  She was born on September 12, 1946, in Kendallville, IN to Harold and Gladys (Richards) Rice.  She graduated from Prairie Heights High School.  Cinda was a lifetime seamstress and worked as an industrial seamstress for Master Craft for many years.  She enjoyed horses and garage sales.  Cinda was very loving mother, grandmother, and sister.  She was also quite the sarcastic jokester and never knew a stranger.  She will be missed deeply by her family.

Survivors include: Son, Arron DeClue and Jessic Roark of Angola, IN. Grandchildren, Marissa Roark, Markus Roark, Tyler Burdge, Rory Lee Wayne DeClue, Mason Shanayda, and Liam DeClue. Sister, Cheryl and Raymond Weible of LaGrange, IN. Sister, Suann Rice of Angola, IN.

Cinda was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Harold Rice, David Rice, Barbara Weible, Gloria Kline, and Kenneth Rice.

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 5:00pm with visitation prior from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Officiating the services will be Pastor Donnie Goff.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Steuben County Animal Shelter.
