Christopher Licatesi

Christopher Licatesi, age 66, of Marion, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, after a long illness at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

Chris was born on October 16, 1959, in Chicago, to John and Patricia (Burke) Licatesi. Chris worked in various manufacturing positions, including time with General Motors in Willow Springs, IL.

Chris spent most of his life in Illinois until he met his sweet longtime girlfriend Cindy, in Marion, IN and decided to stay in Marion with her. She calmed his soul and strengthened him.  Chris always was tendered hearted towards stray animals and often brought cats home.

Chris was an avid coin collector, enjoyed a good cold beverage, his mother’s cherry cheesecake, and valued his peace and solitude.  Chris always was living in the moment and was seldom concerned about the future. He lived life on his terms and lived the way he wanted.

Surviving are his father, John Licatesi; brothers, Michael Licatesi and Steven (Beth) Licatesi; sister, Laura (Phillip) Leger; and three nephews, Nicholas Cardilli, Matthew Licatesi, and Zachary Licatesi.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother and his longtime companion, Cindy Sue Goodpaster.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Arrangements and care have been entrusted to Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
