Charles "Chuck" Michael Bowles

Charles “Charlie” Michael Bowles passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Charlie was born on February 15, 1974, to Peggy (Chadwell) Bowles and David F. Bowles in Louisville, KY. In 1992, he graduated from Atherton High School in Louisville. For all his working life, Charlie was an electrostatic painter, working first at Bowles Electrostatic Painting in Louisville then at Deister Machine in Fort Wayne. Charlie enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially deer hunting. He also knew his way around thekitchen, known for being an excellent cook. Charlie remained forever tied to his Kentucky roots, being an avid fan of the University of Kentucky and of horse racing at Churchill Downs.

Charlie is survived by his mother, Peggy Bowles; his father, David (Debbie) Bowles; his long-term partner, Tommilee “TT” Williams; sister, Laura Kernen; brother, Davy Bowles; sister, Kim Campbell; sister, Angela Bowles; and brother, Austin Bowles. Charlie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Charlie was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and a sister, Debbie Bowles.

A private family service will take place with cremation to follow.
