Brenda K. Miller, age 63, of Butler, IN passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN.  Ms. Miller was born on February 22, 1960 in Kentucky to Marion and Lillie (Jent) Melton.  She married her late husband and love of her life, Michael Wayne Miller in LaGrange, IN.  For nearly 30 years, she was employed by Starcraft, where she worked diligently within the strenuous conditions of the manufacturing plant.  Then for 5 years, she was employed as a Home Healthcare Aid with Miller's Merry Manor in LaGrange.  Brenda was easy going.  She enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, swimming, camping, and a good cold Miller Lite.  She enjoyed finding treasures at yard sales and spending all the quality time she possibly could with her family, grandkids, and loved ones.  She will certainly be missed by those who knew her and those she loved.

Survivors include: Mother, Lillie Melton. Daughter, Melody Ann Day. Daughter, Lisa and Earl Zimmerman. Grandchildren, Samantha (Dillon) Kinnaley, Kimberly, Alyssa, Brayden, Lily, Tucker, Gentry, and Parker Blackburn, Anthony "Austin" Slone, Brittany, Michael, Elijah, Zachary, Brittany, Angelica Fodge, Khloe, Ethan, Ellen Zimmerman, and Harley, and Felicia Day. 5 Great-grandchildren. Siblings, Joyce Pierson, Doris Melton, Shirley, and Billy Melton. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, husband, children; David Wayne Blackburn Jr., Miles Anthony Blackburn, and siblings; William, Charles, Dearl, Robert Melton Jr., and Carolyn Sexton.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00pm with visitation prior from 11:00am-1:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Burial will take place following the service at Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville, IN.
