Axley Lee Hicks, age 53, of Garrett, IN passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.  Mr. Hicks was born on May 14, 1967 in War, WV to the late Axley and Janice (Wright) Hicks.  He graduated from Big Creek High School in War, West Virginia.  Axley served his country with the United States Army.  He worked for Electric Motors in Garrett, IN for 8 years.  Axley also worked in production at Mossberg Industries in Garett, IN for 2 years.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Axley was very social and enjoyed Bud Light Draft Beer.  He loved spending quality time with his friends, family, and loved ones.

Survivors include: Daughter, Keanu Hicks of Garrett, IN. Son, Tyler Hicks of Ashley, IN. Son, Troy Hicks of Ashley, IN. Brother, Samuel (Lisa) Hicks of Garrett, IN. Sister, Dawn (Roger) Christian of West Virginia. Sister, Sibyl (David) Collins of North Carolina. Sister, Sonjia (Mike) Vaughn of Virginia. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
