Mary King Obituary

Mary Margaret King, age 75, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Ms. King was born on August 11, 1945 in Fairmount, IN to Avery and Josephine (Pittman) King. She attended Ligonier High School in Ligonier, IN. Mary then continued her education and obtained a degree in engineering at Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville, MI. She worked in maintenance and set up for Fruehauf in Michigan for 10 years. Mary then worked for Lake Park Industries in maintenance and set up in Shipshewana, IN for 8 years before retiring. Mary was the “Queen of Garage Sales,” and enjoyed searching, finding deals, and traveling to garage sales. She loved the outdoors and her canine companions. Mary enjoyed her monthly visits to Four Winds Casino, Fire Keepers Casino, and Gun Lake Casino. She was talented in music and wrote her own songs. She was a skilled guitarist, pianist, and keyboard player. Mary was a caretaker with a good heart and loved helping people.
