Jerald "Jerry" Lavere Sours III

Jerald “Jerry” Lavere Sours III, age 36, of Montgomery, MI passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI.  Mr. Sours was born on February 9, 1985 in Coldwater, MI to Jerald Lavere Sours Jr. and Tammy (Johnson) Sours.  On March 17, 2017, he married Nicole Cooper in Kalamazoo, MI.  Jerry was a highly skilled mechanic and enjoyed painting.  He was a very sweet young man and always tried to lend a helping hand to those in need.  Jerry loved his wife, family, and dogs.

Jerry was preceded in death by grandparents, Jerry and Janet Sours, Willard Johnson, Ronald Kurtz Sr., uncles, James Sours, Daryl Sours, Terry Boatman, and a brother, Kevin Kurtz.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August, 3, 2021 at 1:00pm with visitation prior from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 603 South Detroit Street, LaGrange, IN 46761.

Officiating the memorial service is James P. Hess PhD.
