Jane Sue (Pant) Hicks

Jane Sue Hicks, age 71, of Hudson, IN formerly of LaGrange, IN passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Parkview Dekalb Hospital in Auburn, IN.  Mrs. Hicks was born on January 17, 1950 to Vern and Pauline (Randal) Pant.  In 1967, she graduated from Prairie Heights High School.  On May 18, 1967, Jane married Joseph I. Hicks in Stroh, IN.  Jane worked in manufacturing in Waterloo, IN.  She also was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.  Jane was a babysitter and volunteered at Harper Woods Elementary School for many years.  She loved sewing, cooking holiday meals, and floral arrangements.  Jane always put her family first and never missed any events.  She loved taking care of children and spending time with those she loved.

Daughter, Jane and Ken Parlow of MI.
Granddaughter, Chelsee and Ben Schram of MI.
Grandson, Jakob Hook of OH.
Grandson, Douglas and Brittney Wilber of IN.
Great-granddaughter, Adaline Mann of OH.
Great-granddaughter, Skarlett-Rose Hook of OH.
Great-granddaughter, Iris Schram of MI.
Great-granddaughter, Willow Johnson of IN.
Great-grandson, Jude Johnson of IN.
Great-granddaughter, Meadow Wilber of IN.
Great-granddaughter, Mary-Jane Wilber of IN.
Sister, Joyce and Al Gryder of TN.
Sister, Judy and Kemper Dotts of IN.
Sister, Jo and Brian Jordan of TX.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Jode Wilber, and 4 siblings.  

Cremation will take place then a graveside service will be scheduled at a later time.
